Looking for a targa to cab troubleshooter.... Indiana

OK.. Pics to follow.... I just got my 911... its in overall good condition for a 25 year old car... needs tlc in order for it to be where I want it to be... any how I have a super long list of need to do's....

Lets start with the 2 most anoying....

1. worst thing so far, the cab conversion:
it looks good nice and straight however where the top screws down where the door meets the body (right where they weld in the cab mount) there is a gap, almost like its a bit to high... they had some carpet ran up to teh edge so I didnt really pick it up.. however it bothers me cause there is about a quarter inch gap... Not sure if its missing trim or a gaskit or whatever.... I know... pics will come tomorrow....

2. Second looks like there is a bigger gap than normal where the goor meets the body (latch end) only reason I say that is I can see in pretty well and it does not look like its shut well from inside... now from the outside the lines look great... all even and nothing out of line at all... door is not shifted one direction or the other??? OH and the door seal is there.... could be the way it looks or could be something else. Almost looked like a tiny bit of flex as I drive as well... like if I look at the door where it meets the body from the inside while I drive I see it move a bit when I go over uneven surfaces... you get the pic...

I will post pics of what ever you need to see tomorrow... I like the car so far but it needs a lot of work to meet my standards.... but hey it is 25 years old right....

If anyone just happens to be close to me and can help I am in southern Indiana (Louisvill/Indiana)near downtown louisville...

I just need someone a bit more experanced... and I want this car to be right...

PPI missed it... however on a good note... the 3.2 motor is nice runs real well and the 915 was rebuilt last week... so I have a good start already... Electrical will be a chore... I just dont understand what some people are thinking when they do shotty work... makes it ruff on the guy like me who wants it to look and feel like new.

Please help me out if you can, heck even if I could see another cab to find out if Im missing stuff would be real cool.

thanks guys
once I get past these problems the rest will follow.
