Removing Evaporator and Blower Assembly
I'm trying to remove the evaporator/blower assembly from the smugglers box, but I can't seem to get it out. I've removed all the supports per the Bentley Manual.
Is there any trick to this? It seems stuck in there even though I can shift it around in the smugglers box.

Have you removed the air inlet attachment flange under the passenger side floor board?

No. Unless I missed it, Bentley doesn't tell you to do that.

Bentley isn't a comprehensive manual especially in regards to AC. You must remove the flange to extract the evaporator/blower housing.

Can you give me an idea what it looks like. I opened up the floor board but I'm not really sure.
Also, turns out I have an amplifier in their. Lol.

You can see the flange in this pic. Remove the 4 perimeter screws and screen; then withdraw the flange. If everything else (don't forget the capillary tube) is disconnected you should then be able to remove the evaporator box up out of the smugglers box.
