Low idle when I push the brakes

I have a brand new engine, 3.0l 9.9.2 compression, and 964 cams. With the new cams, whenever I hit the brakes my MAP goes down, and the idle lowers. Anyone have to install a vacuum canister after they changed cams, and how did you do it? Or what did you do to get around this?

There should be an L shaped check valve where the vac line ties into the vac can. Make sure that is functioning.

Where is the vac can? I know where the brake booster line is, and where it goes into the firewall.....
