missing

Had a problem with my 3.2 missing on one cylinder. Afer checking all leads etc, found that it was No5 cylinder spark plug fouled up ( to many short drives) changed plugs and fine, yet now its missing again. Why would same plug keep fouling. Also what is the life span of a set of ignition leads?? Could a faulty lead not be helping??

Is wire seated properly at both ends? distributor cap and spark plug? Is plug gapped properly? Check distributor cap for a crack near that contact.

Only thing i havent changed is the leads so think thats next, even though they tested ok.
Yip tried to thrash it, see if it cleared but it wont. Ive been thinking valve guide seals. Had previous post about a modified guide but had no replies. Ah well 100 plus on new leads it is.
Cheers.
