Isn't is "Sport" (same word in English and German)?

Wow, that is amazingly similar on the exterior to my 84:

One quick tip: Sounds wierd, but rub a little vaseline into the black part of your Fuchs, let it sit for an hour or so, then wipe it all off. You'll be amazed at the blackness that comes back.

Thanks for all the kind words guys and gals,

My car did come with the factory a/c, but while installing my rear speakers I noticed that it also has the rear pop out windows. Was wondering if this was an option in 77' or if it was a PO add on..... My car also has the front trombone oil cooler, tensioner upgrades and thermal reactors removed. The power windows and power sunroof also work great. I have already removed CIS and installed a 2Bbl carb, installed petronix ignitor, installed optima battery, repaired gas pedal and installed new bronze bushings, installed poly graphite camber plate bushings, installed bronze shift rod coupler bushings, installed all new shift bushings, new plugs, oil change, new alternator, wiper blades, and installed stereo..... I will sooner than later finish the pedal assembly bushings and install a new short shift kit.... I will also replace the engine cooling tin with the improved piece that is availible aftermarket..... Ahhh!!!! A work in progress..... bet it never gets finished He He !!! well thanks again and thanks for the sense of community that this forum and the people on it provide!

Thrasher
It may sound wierd, it did to me too when I saw it in the 1985 Carrera owner's manual. But there it is - a recommendation from Porsche that vaseline be rubbed into the Fuchs. As you say, the results are really good.
