Pop off valve close call
Accidentally reversed two spark plug wires on my '82SC when was using gasket sealer to repair a torn intake sleeve. The car had such a powerful backfire it blew the pop-off valve out of the box (the epoxy broke free). Figured out what happened with the wires, now the car runs great... the airbox survived.
