I'll be there. I started a thread a few weeks ago asking the same question. I didn't get much response though.

Let's do what the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix guys did to identify Pelicans, put a Pelican sticker on your dash if you have one.

We'll be there! ..just please don't get closer than 10' to our car.

My brother and his wife are coming down again, so look for a silver Cayman S parked next to a white SC Targa. That'll be us!

Here's a link to our post show photos from last year:

http://www.lumpocole.com/doug/p2o2006/Friday%20Night%20Wash.html

(There are more pages linked at the top.)

We just got an e-mail from Brice Kadel letting everybody know that we have 230 cars registered, with more registering every day! There's still a chance to register, and it looks like the weather is going to cooperate. So be sure to come on by! ..and spread the word to others!

Weather update...be ready for rain. Doesn't look like a wash out, but now they're saying a 50% chance for showers.

(..not that I mind driving my Porsche in the rain, of course, but it's just nicer when it's not raining..)

Doug,

We'll be ready for it! We're planning on having fun no matter what the weather brings. We've been looking forward to this event all year. See you there!

Hey Art! Yeah, rain doesn't bother us either. (..good thing since we're planning on moving to the PNW!!! ) Just wanted to give everybody a heads-up so we can all be prepared.

And let me again emphasize that it's not supposed to be a wash-out by any means! Just typical midwest humidity striking up a shower or two...very isolated...hit and miss.

Looking forward to seeing everybody and all the cars!

Will do Art! I think I actually remember what you look like from meeting you last year. (..was it last year? I don't think you had your car then?)

Weather update... most of the rain is supposed to hit today and tonight, with showers lingering into morning. Slight chance in the afternoon, but should be mostly cleared out by morning. So just bring some towels and it'll be a great day!

thanks for the weather update.

Doug,
We are having some showers off and on today and last night. It sprinkled on the way to work this morning. I'm about 35 miles east of Oxford. Hopefully all the clouds will move through so Saturday is good.

See you guys there.
Chris

Rain rain go away.

Like cats and dogs here. Hope it's getting all this rain out of it's system for tomorrow. Course, we won't let a little rain stop us.
