930, chasing in Sepang F-1 track video

Hello,
There were 12 of us from Bangkok on a long trip down to Sepang F-1 Circuit
in Malaysia. The track was a real 1st. class and just had the surface redone.
We were joined by the Malaysian Porsche club at that afternoon.
The trip was 2000 km. of driving plus visiting Singapore.
It was so much fun and we are planning to do it again soon.

My friend's silver 930 was in the front,
A 1 km. straight line top speed was 220 km/h. on some lap.
Mine is the gold 930 with less power but he couldn't loose me either
because we were both so slow around the conners.
I hope you enjoy it.
Thanks
Burint

Nice video. I remember the days of driving through the Singapore highways late at night at about 200kph in my Mercedes. They have some awsome roads, especially the 5 lane highway that goes underground through the financial district. I think it was the BKE

very cool. always wanted to get a chance to drive on an f1 track. gutsy move cinching the e-brake after a run like that.

You must of had the film in the camera backwards, you are driving on the wrong side of the car. I agree with what Felix said, you don't want to put the e-brake on after a hard track run. Nice job on the video.

hand brake

after reading this post i put on new brake pads and adjusted my handbrakes, just a tad too tight. took if for a ride...put on the brake when i stopped in the driveway... The brakes locked on...i had fun time getting them free (only the left side was locked).

I remembered the response to this post concerning putting on the brake too late. It almost welded the 2 together
