Reinstalling the AC condenser blower

Any tips? I cannot get the damn thing back in. I took it out to change the battery, got the battery in but can't get the blower back in. Please help. Reinstallation is far from the reverse of the uninstall.

What if you undo the battery lock down thingy and see if you can shove the battery back a little and see if that gives you room to get the blower back in.

It only give about a 1/4 of an inch which still isn't enough. It is hitting on the fuel tank on the width. I took the clips off but I still can't get the front part to clear the opening. It is so snug. I

I took mine out, but have no recollection on how it came out. Can you put the blower in a little more to the left and then slide it over?

Well, I managed to get everything back together. What a completely frustrating evening but I now have a new battery in the car but it certaintly did not come cheap. The battery was the cheapest part. The expensive part is if I decide to replace that housing now because I managed to crack the back side of it in the process of putting it back in and replace the washer pump that I took out while trying to tighten the battery. And to top it off is I also noticed that something spilled on one of my newly refinished rear fuchs and stained the lip. I just can't win. I am gonna drive the P-car tomorrow to feel better.

What housing? If it's part of the A/C, I may decide to part with what you need.

Dave,

It's the whole back plastic piece of the blower. I attached a pic of the crack in it now but I think it should still work as it is exclusive of the closed A/C system, I think? Fix one thing, break another.
