Carrera side script
 

Has anyone put Carrera side script on an SC (to look similar to mid 70's), or is that bunk?

Wouldn't it be lying? Like putting turbo on a non turbo?

I wanted side stripes, so I went with P-o-r-s-c-h-e. It might not be "period" or "correct" but its true.:)

The 'SC' appellation is an acronym for Super Carrera, right?

The PO put a Carrera valence on my SC. I like it because the fog lamps are recessed. My mechanic pointed it out to me when I first took it to him when I bought it a couple years ago and said I could replace the SC on the engine lid with Carrera and everyone would think it was a Carrera. Yeah! I said. Then we both laughed. I told him I was thinking of putting a Torbu (not Turbo) badge back there instead.
