Rebel Racing - Still Alive?

Can anyone confirm that Rebel Racing is still in business? Yes, their website is still there, but I placed an order last year which never shipped, they don't respond to emails, the phone numbers go to a full mailbox...

Question is, did it fold?

Search the forums. Slow to respond is the general theme. Good products though.

Cheers

Good products. Instructions need to be sourced from places other than the website. Yes slow to respond. Keep in mind race prep has begun so many of the shops are swamped.

Hmm,
I am still waiting for a response after purchasing online some 10 days ago and a couple of emails.
Not to mention my account having been charged.
Perhaps this business is ??

It can be a little frustrating in the era of Amazon logistics, but you should get your stuff.

Bump for update.
I have been waiting a long time for any response. And I just spent several thousands of dollars on his site two weeks ago.
I cannot form an opinion yet given the above.
But I can say I am losing my patience.

I placed a substantial order with him in January with no issue. Products shipped a few weeks later with no problems. Nothing custom, just off the website. Only good things to say about Clint and his products!

Sorry you guys are having issues, I'd keep trying to reach out.

Fredie's anxiety is understandable of course but his worst fear is not likely to happen. Clint is a great guy with great products, but sometimes poor communication availability. He is focused on the "doing" more than the "talking." I hope Fredie hears from him soon, and I have some confidence Fredie will get the superior products he paid for.

In my dealing with Rebel, there were problems and Clint stepped up and made sure they were solved. There were delays, but he made everything right and I am stunned by the product performance. He raised strut spindles and added a bracket so that the steering knuckle is more secure and adjustable. Car feels like it has power steering now.

Lucky for you guys.
I spent over four grand, asked a few basic questions along the way before and after purchase.
A simple set of wheels and lug nuts. Presumably in stock as my CC was charged through PP.
After several emails and attempted phone calls with not even the respect of a one simple response, I am at the end of my patience. It’s been over 30 days.
I will not beg someone to take my hard earned money. Too many other options.
Although tempting to torch the seller, I have elected to stick with the facts.
I have kept this professional.

Completely hear where you're coming from. Hope it works out positively for you. If patience runs out, like you say, there are other options...

Why is it that the community of Porsche owners is more than willing to not only except, but make excuses for businesses that take months, hell YEARS to complete a task. I am sure if you took your everyday car to a dealer and they told you come back in 6 months, MAYBE longer you would not be doing business with them again.

What Joe says. Multiple threads about Rebel Racing customer service year after year after year. His products may be the greatest but expect zero follow-up post order. On the positive side it doesn't sound like anyone has ever been completely stiffed.

I know Clint and his dad well. I bought my car from Craig his dad. Clint is still in business. I won't go into detail other than to say Clint is going through a hyper stressful non Porsche related situation at this time. For those of you waiting for your order I can understand your frustration. He is doing the best he can considering what he is dealing with. He will get through this and you will get your orders.

One order went fine, shipped fast enough.

Another was zero contact and I had to do a credit card chargeback. After repeated unanswered phone calls, full voicemail and no replies to email.

I resorted to buying from Tarett since they seem to buy Rebel's parts in bulk and resell them.

Tarett has always been easy to get ahold of, fast shipping and very transparent about things being in stock or not.

If you're going through some personal drama you simply shouldn't take anyone's money. I live in Realville.
