Installed the K27HFS
I was too busy to take a picture of the installation last night. I will tonight, before I reinstall the rear bumper.
First: Old hardware, Bolts Etc. was a pain to get off. Rusted on. I purchased 3 types of nut splitters and cut heads off of bolts and it was a total hardware destructive removal. Second: The turbo needed some mod work, I had chamfer the bead on the intake (Out) side to be able to install the adapter for the riser to the IC. Third: Cleaned everything and reinstalled the oil supply tube and fitted it with all new gaskets and hardware. Anti seized everything. Forth: Turbo support bracket wouldn't fit any longer and left it off. I installed the Fabspeed Exhaust and readjusted the bracket to support muffler and turbo. Soooo How does it run? Wellll. A little like how everybody said....Spools faster than the 3LDZ ( About 500 RPM sooner) With stock exhaust it started to indicate a positive pressure about 2700 RPM's. Very linear charge. I havent received my new IC yet and still need to replace my 1 bar spring with a .8. I also wasnt sure about a short break in period. So I just cruised it around the neighborhood. Yesterday was a warm/hot day also. I was being mellow. My car runs smooth and silky and seems very drivable. The turbo does not come on like a freight train. Anyway- would like to blast off on the freeway to see what the difference is. I will tell you tomorrow.

You need to run your turbo in for 50miles with no boost to bed the seal in. After the 50 build boost gradually.
I found that when fitting the bracket it helped if I fitted it with the 4 studs removed from the turbo. Fitted the studs through the bracket when it was in position.

At least you didn't boost too high.
The advice I gave you was what I was told by Kevin who built our turbos when I emailed & asked him. He also recommended to prime the oil supply line by cranking the engine with fuel pump relay removed. I also read in the factory workshop manual to fill the turbo oil feed pipe up with oil. Also remember I advise to refit your old K26 if you fit new headers to your car. Kevin advised me to wash them thoroughly with a bottle brush & hot soapy water.
