Will a 77 CIS airbox fit a 79SC?
Title says it all. Need a replacement for my 79SC. Will a 77 CIS airbox fit the bill?
Thanks!

According to our host's catalog, 77 and 79 use different part numbers.

Is it '77 2.7 or '77 3.0 airbox? '77 3.0 C3 box would probably work, part no is 911 110 106 13, now superceded by 911 110 906 00. I think your airbox has 38mm outlets.

The '78 & '79 SC & Euro SC came with larger runners. The lower airbox is fitted with larger outlets to fit the larger runners.
Also, later cars has an internal manifold for the coldstart valve in the airbox. There may be other differences but that's the ones I know of.
