Lights on Heater Controls

Since we always need at least one silly project.

While rooting around under my dash, I noticed there appears to be a place for a lamp on the left side of the heater controls. There is a blue lens on the panel. It looks identical to my right side lens whcih does have a lamp that illuminates when I move the slider to the middle or beyond.

Should I have a lamp on the left side as well?

Harry; I believe my pale blue light comes on with the blower, haven't used it in the dark for a while though.

If you are looking at the back, every socket should have a bulb in it. The big problem is that they fall partially out the back and then melt the socket and won't stay in anymore.

So I should have a lamp on the left side then?

Can anyone verify?

Any one have a spare lamp socket with a decent pigtail?
