Another Alternator Question
Will a car start if the alternator is dead and you have a good battery?

Yes. The vehicle will run until electrical needs exceed the remaining battery capacity. The alternator-less engine will run longer if you push-start it instead of using the battery to crank the engine.

Yes, but as soon as the battery drops below 12v, you no longer have a good battery.
