touch up paint

I recently had some body work done on my targa and the body shop gave me half a quart of the paint that was color matched, so i went a long and started touching up all the chips on the front of the car....
here is the question....
the touch up paint is duller, is there a way to polish the spots I've touched up?

Do a search here on the board. There are lots of threads about touch-up. Likely what you'll end up doing is a careful wet-sand with 2000 grit paper, and then polishing with varying degrees of aggressive polish, followed by a good wax.

The "touch-up" may be duller because it is probably just base coat.. no clear. You need a cler on top for the shine.

Good point! He'll still likely need to do some wet sanding and polishing after the clear coat has dried to get it to blend properly.

thanks for the advise, I'll try the sanding, some rubbing compound, then some polish and wax (under the bumper would be a good inconspicuous spot to test)
