front glass trim delete ???

I see the host sells the rear windscreen rubber without the
trim groove, but is there a gasket like this for the front glass.
Thanks

964 front windshield seal BUT you may have to shim the edge of the w/s to push the rubber out far enough to seal properly

I used the regular gasket, but molded and put 1/8 welding rod into the grove instead of the trim.

Need pics here...

What appearance does this create? Any leakage problems?

I spent all last winter in the barn trying to fit a Lexan windshield into a 964 seal on an '83 SC and I haven't got it done yet. Figgered I'd rty again next winter, but believe me, it ain't easy...grind some, fit some, grind some, fit some...

Interesting thoughts here. I was hoping a gasket for this
delete was around. Perhaps I'll just stick with the trim. I don't really
want any leaks in the front.
Thanks for all the ideas guys
