Rear window defogger relay question.....
Winter comes pretty quickly here in the NW, and I am getting ready early.
Last year, the rear window defogger, well, didn't. I want to pull the relay to have it tested. All wires seem to be there and hooked up, but the relay attaches to the wires with a plastic male insert. I tried to disconnect it, but it resisted, and I don't want to break it. Looked in the books, but only see where it is, not how to disconnect. Anyone? Regards, Bill |
Year of your car?
Check the fuse on the electrical panel in the engine compartment? (on most years) |
The car is a '76. The fuse is good. I am sure there is a simple way to disengage, but I don't want to force it.
Thanks for the help. |
O.K., so the relay for the rear window defogger is good, and so is the new fuse. The window itself looks like it is new-every line is perfect and intact.
I can't find a pic or mention in any of the books (also did cursory search here) regarding: A. What to check next B. Where is the connection to the window Anyone care to help a Pelican? |
