Installing new fuel injectors in '75 CIS...anything to look out for

Hello all,
I did a few searches and really didn't see the answer I was looking for so I figured I'd post the question. I have a '75 911S and I have sent my fuel injectors to Witch Hunters to have them cleaned and tested. Seems that four of the six were good. I'll be purchasing two new ones. At installation, the Clymer manual says that after they are installed turn on the ignition and raise the air flow sensor and hold it for a max of five seconds to bleed the injectors and that they can be heard spraying fuel. Is it that simple? Is there anything else I need to be looking for?
Thanks in advance,
Randy

I don't recall bleeding the injectors (probably poor memory) but there shouldn't be anything else to do. You should also install six new O rings while you have them out. If you happen to pull the sleeves out, replace those too. otherwise leave them in the runners - let sleeping dogs lie.

Now would be the time to replace the sleeves; I am glad i did because half of mine in a 80SC were cracking... so i can just imagine yours. No bleeding procedure, the fuel lines going to the injectors will pressurize and they should be spraying fine in no time. The only thing to watch out for is leaky injectors down the road. Let us know how it goes bro.

The workshop manual says to do this every time a part of the fuel system is removed.
With the ignition on, & the lever raised, you will hear the injectors 'sing'.
Then you will know they are primed.

It sounds very cool!
