Decyphering PET

Need some help in understanding PET parts catalog.
I'm trying to figure out my cars interior color code, it appears to be white. It is an 82 Targa, grand prix white exterior.
So I go to the Porsche web site, find the online PET, find interior parts for a targa.
Find Leather pieces
So it shows part number name and model like

9AG White -79 Targa
99A White 80 Targa
LG4 Pearl White 83- Targa

no white shows for an 82

the only 82 colors show as
3NG Brown -82
1AJ Black 80-82
30B Dark Blue 80-82

What do the dashes mean? I can guess that 80-82 means during that model range
Does the dash like -79 mean up to and including 79?
and 83- mean 83 and later?

Thanks for any help....

Jay

Jay,

You got it right.

It took me a bit of time to understand as well plus if you have differnt models sometimes you see the same thing (almost) in two different places.
