Does anyone know what cars may have brembo brake calipers that can be retrofit to a 77 911?
I have come across numerous brembos but dont know what will work on front and rears,so i just pass them up.
any clue helpful.

You can fit virtually any of the brakes on your car; limited mainly by wheel choice and governed by what you plan to do with the car. There are many threads where caliper and rotor size are debated and there is a lot of excellent advice. In reading the posts with an open mind it will become apparent who's advise is worth following. You can spend an evening of Pelican time on this and come up with the answers you need.

It depends on what you mean by retrofit.

If you're looking for them to bolt on, none of them will. The bolt spacing on your car is likely 3.5" in the front and 3" in the rear. Most of the brembo calipers you see from 944 turbos and 964's are 3.75".

If you're willing to replace your rotors, have some custom machining done and upgrade your master cylinder then your options are as big as your budget. You can drop $2-4 grand by the time it's all done, but you'll have fat rotors and big aluminum 4 piston calipers.

The question everyone asks in brake upgrade threads is "what are you trying to achieve?" Are you getting fade at the track? Just want better looks for the street?
