:confused:I have a 1977 911s targa and it has intermittent wiper switch on the dash. it does not work. Checked fuses with no avail. Any ideas, can't Find any prints for this option.

if the wipers don't park when the regular switch is turned off, you won't get intermittents. there's a couple of contacts in the wiper switch that need to contact in the off position. they can be tweeked, but you have to loosen the switch from it's mounting to do it. that's the most common problem.

I have a '77 (coupe) with the same problem, but the wipers park fine... What's the next most likely problem? :)

My intermittant problem ended up being the relay - which i a pita to replace, its location is behind the fresh air blower in the trunk . I too tweaked the switch , then replaced the switch, then the relay......

Good luck,
Matt
