Anyone read the Agent Orange retro.. inspired 911 in the August issue of U.K., 911 & Porsche World magazine? For those who've read the article, I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts about what you'd do differently (and why) as well as the anticipated cost of such a project. (I believe the creator, Sean Lockyear, who did an outstanding job on this car, is offering to sell more of them for 70,000 GBP, or about $141K - Yikes!). The featured car has peaked my interest and has got me to dreaming about possibly doing something similar (not for anything remotely close to $140K though!). And of course it would have to be done in signal green. :) Any thoughts? |

Can this be read online? I don't get that mag. BTW, welcome to the BBS. |

And get the next months and read the letter of the month. ;o) |

Thanks for the welcome Milt. I'm normally on Rennlist (more 993 activity there), but have been lurking on Pelican for some time. The siren song of a retro 911 has gone from a whisper to a banshee scream. Unfortunately the article is not available online. After red964's devilishly coy reference, it looks like a trip to the bookstore is in order so I can pick up the latest issue. |

Well, our own Porsche Doc has done a 964 backdate, or 3. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1146011211.jpg |

Here's a link I found to the car. Unfortunately, it doesn't give the complete details of the car, however, it does contradict the 911 & Porsche World article by saying the price is about 45K GBP ($90K), rather than $141K.
