Ash tray sleeve removal from an '88
I'm used to the '84 and earlier cars and how there ash trays are mounted. On my new '88 the ashtray mounting sleeve is craked and needs to be repaired. Just wondering how it's removed. There appears to be 2 small screws underneath in the back. Is that all that's holding it in?? I don't want to do any more damage by removing it improperly.
Thanks

I just had mine out - I'm not sure if our years are the same. There are two black screws directly underneath. The plastic part just comes out - that simple. There are two silver screws that are underneath the ashtray in the back that hold the temperature sensor (assuming you have auto climate).
