CIS intake runners - weldable?
Are the aluminum intake runners on the 911SC CIS a TIG weldable alloy?

HI Jim , what is wrong that you have to weld the manifold?? I would think it will weld if you can find a guy that can weld ***** house paper you will be $$ in , if not drop me a PM with your info and which manifold is damaged, I will prob' have a good S/H one.

Thanks for the info.
The intakes aren't damaged, I'm just gathering information for a winter project. If it doesn't work I may need to buy some replacements. Thanks Again, Jim S.
