My '89 alarm is set & turned off by the ignition/door key. Does that mean that if I locjk the door with the key, wait a while, and then try to start the car, it won't start?

As you probably saw in the post the fix worked perfectly first time on my '86. If you like I'll take a pic tonight in order to confirm the connections involved. Other than that I'm sure some EEs are out there to assist. Cheers, Pete |
Does anyone know the years that the alarm codes/modules changed?
It seems that this method will work for SC's and Carrera's - but the module was different. I would think the 84 would be different with the introduction of the DME. I have mine rigged right now but would like to remove all together... |
