Vasek Polaks own Porsche 1967 S

This 1967S left the factory at march 2 1967. Or actually it did not leave the factory, because it was a Werks Auto, as the original Kardex reveals. The first owner was Mr. Lentz. He was chief vehicle export at the time and he drove the car for several months. This was confirmed by ex-Porsche racedriver Jürgen Barth. He even remembers the car out of that period. After a few months the car went to Porsche AG, so the factory itself, during the time the 911R was developed.
Nobody knows what happened there, but a few months after that it was sold to Vasek Polak. Not to a dealership, but to him personally. On January 30 1968 the car was shipped to Vasek’s personal address. This place - 914 Duncan Place, Manhattan Beach - is the address where his ex-wife still lives, or was still living until recently. At least a Mrs. Polak can still be found on internet at the same address. The new owner on the Kardex is a certain mister Vaclav Polak, but that’s because Vasek was born Vaclav Polak in Prague. Only later he changed his name to Vasek.
My question is: does anyone know if there's pictures of him with this white 911S in 1968, or can I contact relatives that may remember him driving this car?

Thanks! Erik

Contact Carl Thompson down in Long Beach, CA. Carl was Vasek's right hand man for everything. From racing to production car parts. He would be a good start. Here is a dated article regarding Thompson: Carl Thompson Historic Racing - Vasek Polak - European Car Magazine

I would inquire over on early911sregistry. They seem to have a lot of info on VP's cars.

Ok thanks, I also found the website VPracing.com. There's a lot of information about Vasek Polak. I contacted the people from the site and got this friendly answer:

Dear Erik,
You did a lot of research on this great car and the address in Manhattan Beach is that of Mr. Polak's ex wife. She passed away several years ago. I do have a lot of pictures but not sure I have anything with that car. I am out of town at the moment. When I get home I will check on it and if I find anything I will let you know. Greetings, Anke

And now we wait...

Erik
