Question for Cab owners - back seat and roll bar

I'm considering an 84' CAB

Anyone installed shoulder belts from PEP into a cab?

If yes, they can be used with the top down, right?

Also, I do the occassional "green" group DE. How big an issue is putting in a bolt on roll cage and how easy is it to add and remove as a one man job? Does the car need to be jacked up to add and remove the roll bar?

I have a DAS rollbar - and G-force 5 point - DAS bolts in - bolts out at the seatbelt/seat back bolts - pretty easy - BUT - since PCA changed their policy re harnesses with stock seats - I guess I will be using stock seat belts until I buy some race seats with the proper seat belt access points.

Unless you have kids or have people ride in the back seat.....leave it in.

I have an 87 Cab as well, had the DAS Sport roll bar put in, using stock seats and stock belts. No issues with top going up or down. Actually, I leave mine in as it does stiffen the body some. Run "green" group as well on DE. Most difficult part of install was removing the bolts on the back seats. Bent up 3 screwdrivers, may need an impact gun with plenty of torque.
