My brake job and Joe with a lot of nice Porsches.
Well, with the help of Alex aka Russian Blue and Tim from Seattle we accomplished a nice Ate and Hawk brake job today and just had to share some pics. After the project we met up with a really nice guy in Salem who has a nice selection of toys in his hanger.
Check it out. Here's the parts list for discs, pads, stainless brake lines for front and brake lines for rear as well as flush and fill with Ate blue. ![]() First time I've actually jacked the car and removed the wheels. ![]() Poor Alex under the car, I tried to photoshop his fat out as he requested and Tim handing the doctor his tools. ![]() Here's the rear with just a brake line change, seems in good shape and below is the front as a comparison after a good cleaning and some paint on the caliper too. ![]() ![]() Alex testing the pedal feel. ![]()

Here's Joe, sorry forgot his last name, and his great collection of P-cars. Basically a bunch of Carrera RS's of various years, RS America, 89 Turbo, older 911t with autocross bits, Benz 350 I think, oh and his 07 GT3 out front.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() If Alex chimes in on this post he might give more info on the individual cars. Here's our beauties having to sit outside next to this hooptie ![]() ![]() Drive home. ![]() Thanks a lot to Alex, and Tim for the help and thanks to Joe for the tour, it was a great Porsche day. Oh by the way the brakes feel fantastic.
