Wevo semi solid motor mounts
Hey all,
Just thought I would share my experience. I have many wevo bits on my car and have been extremely happy with all their products. Recently I removed the back seats from my car and the noise was really unbearable... mind you I have aftermarket gears which are louder than stock. Anyway prior to installing some sound deadener I replaced the transmission mounts with a club sport set. The difference in noise level is astounding, and I have not noticed a perceptible difference in handling. If you want your ride to be a little quieter and have solid or semi solid transmission mounts I would recommend trying out a set of the club sport mounts. Kind Regards, Matt

My progression was:
Stock mounts Wevos front and rear Modified transmission Gut rear seats Club front and Wevo rear I like where I am now. Earlier this week I was wearing ear protection in the car; or else getting out with ringing ears. Now I am not as fearful of hearing damage although I will still take a 13lb weight hit to add some modern sound deadner.

Brown Bread is cheaper than Dynamat and just as good. I bought the roll, around 40#'s.

Any difference in shift quality with the swap? I'm in the same boat and was considering the swap back, but was worried I'd get some of the shifting slop back.

You know I get the sense that it is not as tight as with the wevo mounts and that there may be some movement, but it has not introduced any problems.
That said, I did go to great lengths to tighten up the shifting on my car. Wevo shifter, psj, internal shift gate, and all new synchros... so honestly I kind of like the way the 915 shifts. To the fellow who wants the old mounts, shoot me a PM and we can work out details. Price $20 plus actual shipping.

Recently went with WEVO trans/engine mounts, coupler and shifter on my 82 Euro SC. The car is transformed.
