Finally Great Brake Lines fo Upgrade

I just finished a Big Brake upgrade on the "Old One" Any of you who have
done a brake upgrade yourself know it can turn into a, not so great adventure.
My problems started when it came to the brake line. I wanted to use braided
lines with banjos at the calipers, sounded simple. I went through 4 or 5 different
line sets and found; they were too long, wrong fittings, not DOT legal, needed
as many as 12 extra fittings to convert a set of 4 lines. Costs ran between
$115.00 and over $200.00. I finally got fed up and started researching brake
line parts and made my own.
Used a coat hanger to simulate the line I wanted, measured the length
(fitting end to fitting end) and made my own. They are a direct bolt up from the
hard line mount to the caliper. They are 3.2 mm braided stainless steel hose
shielded in a solvent resistant clear cover, to eliminate chaffing the braided line,
DOT approved inserts at each fitting end, the correct M10-x1 female end to
connect to the hard line with factory replacement clips, approved M10 banjo
caliper end, pressure tested to 3100 lbs., tested approved and stamped by
authorized DOT dealer.
This allows you to get custom build DOT Spec. brake lines with any fitting and fittment
configuration you want. It actually took 30 min. to build and test a complete line set.
Thought I'd post to help the rest of our Pelicans. If you have any intrest PM me
or give me a call 260-570-6914

THANKS !!!
Cole
