Boxster seat stuck in reclined position

I removed the driver seat from my 99 Boxster to replace the ignition switch. Didn't notice when I took the seat out of the car it opened to a fully reclined (open) position. Now I can't get the seat to close up (like a clam) the way it should to get it back in the car. I've raised and lowered the control up near the top of the seat to try and get it to release so I can close the seat but no luck so far. Any ideas please? Someone else must have come across this as well.

Might want to post this in the Boxster/Cayman forum.

Also, please add your location to your profile.

Thanks,

Paul.
