Wow! what a diiference 2 minutes makes
 

Tranny was feeling a bit odd....1st took a bit of a nudge, 2nd seemed a to need a bit slower of a throw................:eek:

The real rub was reverse.... dang, it seemed like I needed to double clutch to get it in reverse without grinding.:mad:


Then I figured out the obvious.....maybe it is time to adjust my clutch cable!:o

After all the pedal seemed to have a little slop in it, and besides I had to push it farther towards the floorboard......geeez how could I have been so blind to the obvious??


Well, out came the floor Jack, out came the wheel chocks, out came the wrench.

The actual adjustment took less time than writing this post.


Now the tranny shifts smooth as silk.....what a difference!SmileWavy

I suggest adding clutch check/adjustment to your oil change procedure ... something useful to do while engine oil is draining from the sump! That way you won't ever have to wonder what is wrong with clutch or transaxle ... unless there is a real problem to troubleshoot!
