Front suspension finally dropped!
Got it to drop out last night with a combination of screw drivers, rubber mallets and PB Blaster.
Will be cleaning the entire assembly up. I will probably stop short of blasting and powdercoating if the original finish isn't damaged anywhere (rust). MIGHT replace the ball joints if need be and WILL be replacing bearings (unless I can find record of it being done by the prior owner), brake pads and brake lines. POR'd the bottom of the pan last night (reason for dropping the suspension) and will be shooting the undercoating (Wurth) this week once I get things masked properly. If anyone has $1,000 they don't need I'd also like to replace the a-arm bushings, master cylinder, tie rods, sway bar bushings and strut inserts. Erik Oh, the gloves and blue padding/red tape that you see were to protect the car from the struts as I pulled the suspension out. Dana i should be done with the gun by the coming weekend (ordering SKS for the interior part of the trunk). Thank you for your patience with this! ![]()
