why is one of my front sway bar mount/bushing giving me hell?
 

the bushing giving me fits is the inside, passenger side bushing on the front sway bar. bushing is held within the bracket that shares the fasteners that holds up the belly pan. after hard driving, (i had a thunderhill track day this past friday) it will works itself loose and i find it spinning freely, inside the belly pan area. i only notice it, when i hear the familiar "banging" coming from the right front, when i go over bumps. this is the second time it has happened to me. am i doing something wrong? do i need a new bushing or bracket? annoying.

I think once these things get loose, they become deformed or weak and are prone to do the same again. I'd replace it.

I used those on my 914 race car that had an SC front suspension bolted in.

milt, did you end up using the bracket as well? or did you just install the bushing into the stock SC bracket?
