question on valve cover gasket.
I replace the valve cover gasket maybe a month or two ago when I adjusted the valves. I think I didn't do a good job therefore I can hear the valve noice again. If I take it out again to readjust them now, do you guys think I can reuse the gasket or I might have to replace it?
My second question is if you guys prefer the normal kit (10-0906-091-M260) or the with Silicone Bead on lower Gasket set (10-0906-092-M260)? What is the advantage of one over another? Thanks in advance.

I went through it too for the same reason. The gasket isn't the problem, it's the nuts that leak.
Twice is OK as long as you haven't damaged them thru over-torquing. The 3rd time you can expect some dribbling, but mine stopped over the winter sleep & has been fine since. I did the racer2.7 backside method the 3rd time . . . Ian

I used the silvery gaskets and the gaskets sold by Pelican Parts. Both have worked fine.
Since you have driven the car the gasket has been heat cycled and probably taken a set. So I'd replace them. Plus the nylon lock feature has been used, so they should be replaced. Conservative? Yes. But an oil leak there could be bad news. Change them out, and don't worry about them. But you first problem: valve noise. If you hear them clicking, then you do need to take care of that. Although that just means the gap between the rocker and the valve stem is too large.

Thanks ian,
look like I need a set anyway since I need the nuts. Which type did you get? The normal or the one with silicone bead? Again, Thanks.

Go with the silicone beaded gaskets, they are only a few $ more, and give a bit better seal.

Gaskets make the seal, nuts do not.
Cheers
