New Beru Ignition Leads

I have just received some new ignition leads for my 1980 911sc (UK).
They seem to be Beru leads (black insulated type) however my existing leads, which are pretty old, are the braided type. Can I use the beru leads as a direct replacement or should I return them for the braided ones?

You can use the non-shielded. I do (and so do many others).
