Calling all wheels spacers experts.

Please help! What size spacers will I need to put on a set Cup 1 17X7 front and 17X9 rears with 55mm offset. My car is a standard Carrera 3.2. I have done three separate searches but cannot find any useful info. Any help would be much apprecriated.

Thanks, fellow pelicanite Mark

1" front (21mm is OK).

2" rear (42mm is OK).

Worked on my 82 SC, Carrera has same fenders.

the ideal offsets are:

7x17 = 23.3mm

9x17 = 18.6mm

Your wheels being 55mm front and rear, ideally you'll need a 32mm spacer front (32mm + 23.3mm = 55.3mm) and a 36mm spacer rear (36mm + 18.6mm = 54.6mm). These are ideal but may not be available.

Depending on what size tires you run you'll have a few mm of play in either direction.

I am not sure that 23.3 and 18.6 are "ideal" but they work well.

Cheers

thanks for mentioning that Jeff. The front is the factory offset for a 7x16 (works fine for a 17) and the rear is the Fikse offset for a 9x17
