Need exhaust gasket advice
Take a look at the 3 types of exhaust gaskets Pelican sells. I'm pulling the exchangers on my 2.0 E for general clean-up and inspection as well as sealing a potental leak.
the engine is all stock. which exhaust gaskets should I get? ![]()

Thanks Ben, those and new studs, nuts added to the list.
BTW, my plan is to oxy-mapp the nuts red hot, hit with water, pull them off. Any advice from an exhaust pro? Engine is on a stand of course.

I need to drop an exchanger to replace the oil return tubes. I expect to drop at least one side along with the oil crossover pipe. I assume the exchangers have never been off the car so I anticipate a struggle. I plan to put on SSI units after I get the car emission tested in March. Then I can get Colorado classic car plates and won't need to meet emissions again.
My question is can I reuse the gaskets until I get the car tested in March so I can put on fresh ones in the spring or should I put them on now and/or reuse them when I put on the SSI units. I'm concerned about both safety and performance.
