Source for door latches?
I took apart my driver's door today to chase down a non-working outside door handle and lock. It appears that the latch mechanism is jammed or somehow messed up, so I'd like to source a replacement - P# 911.531.053.06 I don't see it in the Pelican catalog. Anyone have one? Dealer price is probably scary.

Pelican can order it. Put the old part number (w/o the periods) in the search "Pelican Parts box". The PN has been superceded to 96453105301 and the price is listed at $817.30; nearly a 10 fold increase over the old part price. Given the cost it may be worthwhile removing and investigating the old unit. Perhaps it just needs cleaning and new lubrication. The other option is used from places such as "Parts Heaven."

Thanks - I took the thing out (not easy) and figured out the problem - crap jamming the mechanism. Nice & clean now - works great.
