I added a neoprene washer that just fit around the mounting boss on the Badge, and keeps it from vibrating against the Grill...

Thought about tweaking the location of the A/C Condenser to fit the Badge over to the right side, but, since the spot was already available on the top left, there she be!

Dang! You know, that is what I thought was not there on the new batch... the plastic washers. They changed the mount so that it would fit through the grille, but they changed to a smaller metal washer. At least the studs are also metal instead of the nylon ones they sent with the prototype. I asked them to change that part... I guess they thought I meant change all plastic to all metal.

I will check with them to see about getting those plastic washers to use like Max did, more as a dampener/softener. I will let everyone know what I find out.

I have got a few emails today and a post on Rennlist. Hope to see alot more of these pics. I hate to curse myself, but it looks like the shirts and decals are moving along now and I hope to have ordering news by the end of the week.

Got mine today too. Thanks for all your hard work on this Shane, it looks great. I'd put it on, but the car's actually in the shop right now getting an Elephant Racing suspension package installed.

The threads were very soft and wore of immediately so I had to use Locktite to secure the badge. I also used a see-through tape as a guard on the back of the badge.

You Mid guys have a crazy, sexy cool design for a decal, and in my opinion would it make a very nice badge ( I mean the one on the Mid-9 website - I don't know who came up with the design, but I really think they did a great job!). I would be willing to put it together if there is enough interest in it. The design is basically already there, so, it would probably take about 6-8 weeks to materialize into badges in hand. I will let y ou run with it form here. Let me know. Otherwise, I guess you will have to go buy a nice SC somewhere!:eek::D
