Dash fit; will a '73 work in a '74.
Title says it all. Found a nice F-series dash and hoping it will work in a G-series car. They look the same in pictures, but would like to be sure before shelling out $$$. Thanks.

If you find that it won't, please let me know. I need one for my '72. Please pardon the hijack.

yes it will work but you will need to relocate two holes on the front of the dash for bolt holes. These are for differences in the stamping near the glove box and clock.
Of course, this was me installing a 75 dash with integral speaker grill into my 71. I don't know if there are differences between 73/74.

I'm unsure if their are the subtle differences that Jamie mentions b/w 73 and 74, but 74 does not have the integral speaker grill like the later dashes. It is visually the same as the 73 dash.

Sounds like it's close enough. Bought it anyway. Thanks for the gouge.
