Unknown dash light
My 83 SC had a burned out bulb harness behind the dash that I discovered when I was doing some heater repairs. I plugged in a new bulb (one of the tiny ones) and it lights whenever the key is in the start position. The bulb appears to plug into a nicely fitted socket through the dash between the tach and speedometer but there is no colored lense for this socket and Im not sure what its for. I hoping its not a warning light and I didn't see any reference for this light in my repair manual. Any ideas......

+1 for OXG light. I had the same "hole", and when taking the console out to replace the shifter bushings, I found the red lense (and a bunch of change).

thanks...... I found a thread that discussed resetting the oxs light by pushing a button on the back of the spedo. Now all I need is the red lens.... |
