odometer with a twist
I just broke in to my odometer last night expecting to find a few teeth missing from the drive gear.....Instead I found a little slop in the worm gear motor shaft. It slid to and from the drive gear with a definite clicking feel - I repositioned it by "clicking" it in the position for best engagement of the worm gear and the infamous drive gear. All seems operative for the time being.
I was wondering if anyone has had a similar experience or knows if such movement is normal in that motor shaft Kind Regrads, Afraid to reset my trip odometer 79 911 SC Targa 94 RR Classic 04 BMW 325i 69 Islander 37 absolutely no free time |
