911 Headlights
I have an '83 SC with the flat style headlights. Is it possible to convert to the slanted style headlights? I also have an '88 3.3 turbo and a 964, and the fenders all look the same.

If you mean Euro H-4 head light assemblies, then the answer is yes you can retro-fit them to your car. See photo below, they are on the green car.
The red car in the photo has stock pre-68 head lights, and they too can be retro-fitted but you will need to buy a used pair, most likely. Either way, H-4 assemblies or old-style, the cost is not cheap. H-4 assemblies (you need the whole assembly, not just the H-4 bulb) run around $200 each. Good used stock assemblies will be less, but more difficult to find especially with the H-4 reflector set-up. ![]() Pic. borrowed from eBay car

If you upgrade to H4's, I would consider using higher wattage bulbs. If you do this, most feel it is wise to upgrade wiring and add relays. Sucro has a kit (do a search) that includes bulbs and relays. My car came with H4's i added the upgraded wiring, relays and higher wattage bulbs. Very good project. Driving at night is more comfortable because I can see better! Good Luck, Alan
