What is a fair price to pay for pan replacement in the Bay Area?

Does anyone know what is a fair price to pay for replacing the front suspension pan, battery support pan, and possibly the side pans in the Bay Area (72 911)? I got a quote from a local body shop for $3k if I provide the pans and $3800 if they provide the pans. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

1200 labor for the front. Sides will vary because damage will vary. I give 8 hours a side as an estimate. This is for structural work only, no prep for painting. You have to consider exactly what they will do and how far they will take the job towards the next step.

800 for parts seems a bit high, but shops typically make money on parts. Check Stoddards for current pricing.
