What's the weight and wheelbase comparison with an early 911 (66-68)?

The weight should come in under 2000 lbs. The wheelbase of the Ghia is 94.5 inches and the length is 163 inches. The wheelbase of an early 911 is 89.3 inches and the length is 163.9. The kerb weight of an early 911 is 2249 lbs. while the kerb weight of a standard ghia is 1918 lbs.

Then it should fly.

Carry on with the nice project.

Looks cool - know a guy who put a Subi turbo motor in one. How about a pic of the wagon?

I don't have a picture of the uberwagon on the computer, but it will look exactly like this (with the addition of a baby on board sticker) after the separate dual exhaust is finished, which is why it is currently in the shop. My mechanic and I are stuck now because we can't find an exhaust tip that will work for the car WITH a 3 inch outlet. It has all of the M5 body work, M5 wheels, working M5 mirrors, brakes, navigation with digital TV, euro two tone leather (black with white inserts) and uprated suspension. I'm thinking about putting NOS in the car, although a bit hesitant. It's completely a toy.

I think those are only made in a 4 bolt, which won't cover the brakes on this Ghia. I will likely end up using polished fuchs in the same finish as my girlfriend's car. If not, I was thinking of a matte finish on the fuchs with a black background. Superlites would be very cool though. I'll have to think on that.

Leib- a truly fantastic project. Just wondering why you didn't blast some silver in there rather than grey? A nod to stock would have matched that large Dia wheel perfectly. No one would have noticed all the mods..

I would have liked silver paint like yourself, but I was not consulted on the color. I don't dislike it though.
