Blinker/Brights Lever - Loose?

Hello again...

I have a '78 911... This is no big deal, but rather an annoyance to the drivers in front of me.

When driving with my lights on; if I hit a small bump (or jarred by hand) the lever will move "ever so slightly" away (toward the dash) and pop the brights on. I end up having to constantly watch for this...

Should I replace the lever mechanism or are there some fix tips? Also, what does it take to remove? Do I need to pull the wheel?

Thanks again!

Tom
