hood tie-downs?
For those of you using hood tie-downs alone to secure your hood, maybe you could shed some light on this for me. The hood in question is fibreglass and has no provision for attaching a latch. However i am wary about using those tiny little bolts alone through the fibreglass to support the strain of holding this hood down. Did you guys make backing plates for inside the bumper and underside of the hood to help distribute the force or is my concern unjustified?
