What happens when you get pissed off at a piss can.

Okay guys, if you have a low tolerance like me, for stupid things, like locking spray can caps, don't do what I did and try to kick it off with the tip of a screwdriver. I can tell you it was totally my fault and I wasted six bucks.

So here it is... My Mr. Jack Olsen pose of the day!

Nice!!

I had an accident with Por 15 once that left me with paint all over my face. Talk about panicked. I ran in the house and grabbed a wad of paper towels and soaked them with olive oil and proceeded to wipe my face. Whewww!! that was a close call. I can only imagine trying to explain what was on my face if the olive oil hadn't gotten it off.

Got one better, did the same thing and took the entire can in my face. Thank God I had glasses on but I looked like a racoon. Instead of olive the first thing that came to mind was the gas can. Talk about a red burning face!! The only good thing is my gray hair was black for a day or two.

The only way to deal with these things. Although I missed once after a few hundred and messed up the nozzle area.

Thanks guys, the SC (just painted) is Porsche stone gray, a 944 color, I believe, I think it is one of the coolest looking grays in the Porsche line. It looks superb in the sun or in cloudy conditions. The paint job has been a point of contention with the painter due to lots of issues and poor technique, but it is what it is and it looks great from ten feet away so I'm not going to worry too much about it till it comes time to paint again. I want to drive this car and enjoy it, that's what I'm gonna do.

A little background about the car: I got it six years ago for a meager asking price and it's been a garage queen until recently when I've finally had the funds to start restoring it to nice condition. I've done a full rebuild on the motor with Wayne's book and the Bentley book and now I'm re-doing the whole interior and a lot of the little nickel dime stuff that makes you go broke, like headliners, carpets, seats, body seals, hardware and the like. Right now I'm just scrambling to get the headliner, dash and the glass in and get the motor dummy hung so I can get it on a trailer and make my departure deadline of leaving for the PNW by the end of the month.
